Hello learning families!
The time is flying by and we are already at the end of our Week 4 Learning Adventure!
And, in honour of our first full 5-day week of home-learning, I thought I'd try something a bit different for today... and if it works out alright, we'll likely keep the same structure moving forward.
Rather than post new learning tasks today (on Fridays), I will post a re-cap of what was assigned over the course of the week in Français, Mathé, Science and ELA (on behalf on Mme Champagne), and allow for a day of catch-up for those who need it. I will also post of list of additional learning opportunities that you can access and complete if and when you are ready to add additional tasks to your home-adventure routine. I am moving ahead in this way to follow the new provincial home-learning directive that was put out earlier this week; we will continue programming with a focus on numeracy and literacy and will be providing additional learning opportunities in other subject areas whenever possible. I am hoping that this "catch-up day" will allow for students (and families) to review what has been assigned and accomplished over the past week while also providing time to complete additional tasks and get set for the upcoming week.
I will still be available for Showbie support and email questions from 9:00-12:00 and will continue assessing and providing feedback on the weekly tasks that were assigned just as I would on any other school day.
As always, please continue to send questions and feedback my way, and we will do our best to continue navigating this unique time together! :)
Thank you all for your continued support.
Have a great day and a great weekend! :)
