Here We Go, Week 6!

Happy Monday, everyone! Welcome to Week 6!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! :)

On the academic side of things, we will be working to wrap up a few of the items we've been working on over the last while, while also adding in a few new tasks to continue our learning.
* In Français, our goal is to have our Biography drafts typed in Word and submitted to Showbie by the end of the week, so we can start moving ahead with the editing process. Please read the instructions and watch the tutorials posted in Showbie for more information.
* In Math, we will be completing two final tasks this week before wrapping up our "Polygones, périmètre et aire" unit, so taking time to work through the previously posted lessons by the end of the week, if you have not already done so, as well as working through this week's lessons would be beneficial.

[Please remember that due dates are fluid and are given for families who are looking for a way to plan and structure the work day/week. I will continue to move older tasks into the "Vieux Travaux" folder so that newer items aren't getting lost, but they are still there! If you complete an item that has been moved to a "vieux travaux" folder please drop me a note in Showbie so that I can go and take a look! (I am not checking these folders as often and don't want to miss your work!)]

So, what's new for this week?

Pushing forward with 'Teams' meetings - NEW SCHEDULE!
* Whole class weekend sharing / weekly check-in meeting Monday mornings (so, this morning) at 10:00. Attendance is not mandatory, but strongly encouraged! :)
* Math and Français support will now be via Teams instead of in Showbie on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 - 10:30. (Drop-in format - Join if you like, when you like, for as long as you like, within the time frame.)
* One-on-One: I am happy to set appointments with any students who would like to connect one-on-one Friday mornings. We can meet once just to say hi, or we can make it a recurring appointment to work on school tasks if you'd prefer. Please reach out to me by email or drop me a note in Showbie (there is now a new "Request an appointment" assignment in the Microsoft TEAMS folder for this purpose) and I will follow up with you to make it happen!

Reconnecting with Mme Champagne in ELA!
Mme Champagne misses connecting with you and wants to remind you that she is posting daily check-in videos on Showbie about what you can be working on in ELA each day. You will now find an "ELA" section posted on our blog to remind you to include ELA as part of your remote learning journey. (P.S. I had the chance to read a few of the limericks you posted last week for the limerick competition! Bravo to all that participated!)
