A Math question and a Dia de los muertos Craft-ivity!

A new day, a new Math problem!

"105"

In how many ways can 105 be expressed as the sum of at least two consecutive
positive integers?
Ex: 17
8 + 9
***
Ex: 63
31 + 32
20 + 21 + 22

After challenging our brains in Math, we challenged our brains with cursive writing, scissors and glue in Français! The activity we completed in class today is an extension "craft-ivity" for the Dia de los muertos article study we did in class last week. We are making our own unique "Day of the Dead" skeletons!

Step 1 - Fold a paper in half and write our first name in cursive letters.
Step 2 - Cut around our letters WITHOUT cutting through the bottom fold! (This will become the rib cage of our skeletons).

Step 3 - Create a backdrop for our skeletons with black  and coloured paper.
Step 4 - Trace hands and a face and glue all the pieces onto the backdrop.

Step 5 - Give your skeleton some personality! Add a face, jewels and other accessories!
Step 6 - Et voilà! Your very own skeleton friend! :)
